Job Description

This position will be located on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in the Fine Arts building working under the direction of the Director of Fine and Performing Arts program. The student will assist with duties as assigned by the Director of Fine and Programing Arts.

Essential Duties Summary

- Maintain order and cleanliness of the Art Building
- Monitor proper use of supplies and equipment
- Communicate with Security about closing/opening and the space
- Help instructors with preparation of classes and other tasks as assigned
- Help to maintain a relationship with the community, attend events, and answer phones
- Help to promote and recruit for the Fine and Performing Arts program
- Assist with updating and maintain the Social Media pages
- Maintain office supplies
- Check mailbox
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties as assigned

- Computer, Microsoft Office and Adobe skills
- Good reading, math and computer skills
- Eager to learn

Physical Demands

- Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs.

Special Conditions Eligibility Summary

Students must have completed a current year’s FAFSA application, be eligible for Federal Financial Aid, be enrolled in at least half-time (6 credit hours) at South Piedmont Community College, be making Satisfactory Academic progress (GPA of 2.0 or higher, a completion rate of 67% or higher of attempted credit hours, not to exceed the maximum timeframe of 150%) to apply.
